USMC - HEAVY DUTY FIXED BLADE KNIFE + BELT SHEATH - silver

This USMC Design was first issued in 1941, this legendary blade was submitted to the United States Marine Corps, after the start of World War II, in hopes that it would become general issue to that branch of the military. After working closely with the Marine Quartermaster Department, revisions were made to the original design, and production began on this improved USMC knife for the Marines.

It was during the height of World War II that this legendary fighting knife became so widely recognized regardless of whether or not the knife was actually manufactured in the USA facility.

The USMC Fighting Knife has since been adopted by not only the Marines, but also the Army, Navy, Coast Guard and Underwater Demolition Teams. And today the original USMC fighting knife remains the first choice in combat knives for our brave men and women of service, who carry it as their personal knife option,

With an overall length of 303mm, this full tang military knife delivers an impressive 7", epoxy powder coated FULL TANG 440C STAINLESS STEEL blade featuring a U.S.M.C. tang stamp. Its oval handle is constructed from rubber that have been smoothed and grooved for a comfortable grip.
