Hand guard is constructed from SOLID BRASS.  In fact, the knife you receive will be a one of a kind, as no 2 blades can ever be identical.  Comes with a THICK solid cow hide sheath which may fit to your belt.  Please note, the sheath alone is designed for this knife and is 1 piece leather (not reconstituted leather) and retails over $40.
